Ways to Partner

The Coalition for the Common Good (CCG) offers businesses and community organizations an innovative opportunity to develop their workforce to meet current and future needs through a variety of pathways. By partnering with the CCG, your company can participate in a custom needs assessment that unlocks a network of high-quality, flexible education programs that provide your employees with the skills and credentials they need to succeed and advance within your organization while helping your organization achieve its goals.

The Coalition for the Common Good offers a rich catalog of cutting-edge degree and professional development programs and offerings for our sector partners in the healthcare, education, social services, military, academic alliances, retail, and technology industries. We tailor each partnership to suit the needs of your unique organization.

Our Educational Offerings Include:

Customizable Webinars

Bite-sized modules to equip and orient your workforce. Advance your organizational goals and grow your team’s skill set.

Workshops and Micro-credentials

Dig in to build working knowledge. Gain new skills. Develop a next level toolbox.

Certificates

Deep dive into career-building programs and degree pathways. May be customizable.

Undergraduate Degree Completion

The foundation for more career opportunities and lifelong learning.

Graduate Degrees

Master's, professional, or doctorate degree in a specialized area of interest.

Programs may be offered online (synchronous or asynchronous), low residency, face-to-face, or even on your jobsite, depending on the needs of the program and level of investment. Some offerings may be stackable, building towards credit bearing certificates and degrees, or some may be narrowly designed to meet a specific, individualized need of your organization.

Some offerings are stackable, which means that any completed webinar or micro-credential is work that counts towards certificates or accredited courses. This process streamlines and reduces the cost of higher education while adapting to the scheduling needs of diverse learners.

Change for Good

The Coalition for the Common Good is more than just a workforce development solution — it’s a chance to make a positive change for your employees, your business, and society as a whole. Join us in providing employees with the tools to thrive in the workforce while increasing community impact.

Benefits of Partnering with the CCG

Customized Education Solutions

We start by working with your business to understand your workforce needs and strategic goals. Based on this, we design tailored education pathways, including stackable credentials, certificates, adult degree completion programs, and graduate degrees. These programs can be used to enhance existing employee skills, create new career advancement opportunities, and help bridge critical workforce gaps.

  • If you need more qualified tech professionals, CCG builds educational pathways to meet those demands, from entry-level certifications to advanced degrees.
Workforce Development with Industry-Specific Expertise

CCG’s programs are designed to meet the specific needs of industries like healthcare, education, social services, military, and more. Whether you’re a startup, nonprofit, or multinational corporation, CCG’s flexible, scalable programs are designed for your organization. From providing entry-level training for new hires to offering degree completion or graduate programs for experienced employees, the CCG meets your workforce needs at every stage of your employees’ careers.

  • If your entry-level employees need skills training to be more effective on the job, we can provide webinars and certificates to increase efficiency and retention.
Increase Employee Engagement and Retention

Offering educational opportunities through the CCG helps employees grow professionally, fostering a sense of career progression and loyalty. When businesses invest in their workforce by providing pathways for skill development, certification, and advancement, it boosts morale and helps increase employee retention. Investing in education shows your employees that you are committed to their long-term success within your company.

  • If a bus driver wants to advance into other positions in the education field, we can provide them with education pathways to complete their degrees, while teachers could transition into roles like school counselors through targeted graduate programs.
Flexible Funding Models Allow Multiple Levels of Investment

Whether you want to cover 100% of the cost to develop and provide an industry specific program, to offer the federally allowable tax-free employee reimbursement of $5,250 for existing degree programs or ensure that your associates are eligible for a 15% discount on CCG offerings, the Coalition can work with you to identify the programs your associates need to boost productivity and profitability.

Provide Your Employees a Dependent Child Educational Benefit

By partnering with the CCG, your organization can become an Advantage Partner which allows the dependent children of your employees the opportunity to access a significant educational benefit at no cost to your organization. These Advantage Scholarships make the benefits of private higher education available to your employees’ dependent children (age 23 and under at time of enrollment) at state school prices. Participants must be academically admissible and enroll full-time. Scholarship renewable for four years or attainment of first undergraduate degree.

Social Impact and Corporate Responsibility

Partnering with CCG connects your business to a mission-driven education system that prioritizes democracy and global citizenship. By investing in workforce development through CCG, your company contributes to a more equitable society, strengthening local communities and supporting social justice. This partnership aligns your workforce development efforts with broader social goals, improving both your company’s impact and reputation.

  • Our health and wellness programs include courses that specifically address social inequities, providing employees with the tools to not only advance in their careers but also drive social change in their professions.
Flexible Learning Formats

CCG offers various delivery options, including on-site seminars, online courses, workshops, and hybrid models that make it easier for employees to access education without interrupting their work schedules. This flexibility ensures that your workforce can participate in professional development at their own pace, in a format that best fits their needs.
